Your first visit at our office usually takes about an hour. We start with a quick conversation about what brought you in and any concerns you have about your teeth. Dr. Robertson likes to know your history before we ever pick up a tool — what you have liked or disliked about past dental visits, what you want to fix, what your goals are.
X-rays and a thorough exam
We take a full set of digital x-rays to get a complete picture of your teeth and jaw. Digital x-rays use about 80% less radiation than the old film-based ones, and we can show you the images on screen right in the room. Dr. Robertson will walk you through anything he sees worth talking about.
Your treatment plan
If anything needs attention, we put together a treatment plan together — sequenced by what is most urgent. We will also give you a clear cost breakdown so there are no surprises later. If you have insurance, our team works with you to figure out exactly what your plan covers before we begin.
